Starting tonight, Cyanogen OS 12 has officially started rolling out to all OnePlus One owners.

This marks the official arrival of Cyanogen's take on Android 5.0 Lollipop for the OnePlus One. Once users upgrade, they'll be presented with all of the typical Lollipop fare, like revamped notifications, a new multitasking UI, and lots, and lots of Material Design. Overall, Cyanogen OS 12 should feel pretty familiar to those who have had some experience with Lollipop.

However, there are some Cyanogen-specific tweaks, like gesture controls, and additions, like the Themes app that lets users find and apply themes to specific apps. Of course, Cyanogen OS 12 also includes an alternative email app powered by Boxer that gives users additional customization and feature options such as exchange support, multiple account integration, and the ability to select different LED colors for email notifications.

In any event, the update is rolling out to OnePlus One owners now, so be sure to check for it. Of course, paired with OnePlus' recently-released OxygenOS, One users now have two different options for getting a taste of Lollipop on their devices.
