Motorola's David Schuster is certainly on a roll lately. Taking to Google Plus once again, Schuster has announced that Android 5.1 soak tests have begun for the Moto X (2014) on Verizon and the Moto G (2013) with LTE in the U.S..

This is definitely great news for those of you with a U.S. retail Moto G or a Moto X on Verizon, but Schuster had a little more news for Moto E owners as well. After running into some issues with the early testing on the Moto E, Schuster says that Android 5.1 testing will resume in Brazil and India with a week's time.

While the wait for 5.1 on Motorola devices has been a long one for some, it seems like things are shaping up, and Schuster has been great about keeping users up-to-date with the testing process.

Update: This one hasn't been announced by Schuster yet, but it looks like the Android 5.1 soak test has started for the AT&T Moto X (2014) as well.
