Samsung Galaxy Exhibit on T-MobileT-Mobile this morning announced that the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit is now available online and in select stores. The decidedly entry-level device runs $19 down with 24 monthly payments of $9, or $235 outright.  For your trouble you get Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, a 5-megapixel camera, a 4-inch WVGA display, and a mere 1,500 mAh battery.

If you're looking for your first smartphone, chances are you'll get steered toward this. which essentially is a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. Just know you're starting at the low end, and work your way up from there.

If only T-Mobile would carry the nexus 4 for $300

JRKegley says:

If you are willing to pay tmobile $300, why not just buy it directly from Google? You can get the nexus 4 for like $50 down on their new plans.

How do you make payments through Google and not pay the whole amount?

Does the phone rap and pimp your ride at the same time?

talk about more fragmentation. samsung need to stop putting out so many devices. dont they see what that did to htc?

The LG L9 is a far better phone and only cost $200 even. Bigger screen better rez, more powerful processor and a much more attractive device in my opinion. I keep an L9 as my back up in case my Nexus 4 breaks. Lol

Hiberny says:

This has better internal storage than the L9. For some people the storage is more important.

DWR_31 says:

Does the L9 have all of the S-features that this one has? No.

Hiberny says:

This seems like a much better value than the last Exhibit did when it came out. If the battery lasts long enough it would make a perfect first smartphone for my wife.

Just get a Nexus 4 9 a month and around the same price down...
