Delivery pegged for August 28, 16GB and 32GB versions in stock

It's almost new Nexus 7 time here in the UK, and another source of Google's finest has come to light in online retailer Woolworths. It may be the remnants of the former high street chain, but Woolworths new online store has both the 16GB and 32GB versions of the 2013 Nexus 7 in stock for purchase right now. Delivery is still pegged for August 28, so there's a little wait to be had, but you can hand over your cash straight away.

The 16GB Nexus 7 will cost you £199, and the 32GB not a whole lot more at £239. Anyone picking one up in the next week or so?

If you buy from woolworths you're an idiot.

No shit! What a blast from the past, hanging out at Woolworth Woolco all day with my mom just to score some sweet threads for Middle School, c. 1984.

Is there any word on the LTE version? Is there likely to be the same 1 month delay from US to UK for that one as well.?

Hmmm. Maybe when they fix all the bugs with it. This should have been a clean launch of a flagship product but its mired with touch screen issues amongst other quality problems. (eg. just try using Swype).. no ETA from Google on the fixes either. It may be cheap as chips, but this is definitely one of those times where you get what you pay for.
