As promised, Google is making breakout rooms available in Meet to more Workspace users. Google is also introducing three new features to make breakout rooms more useful.

Google had announced these features were coming to Meet all the way back in June. This week, the company has confirmed it'll be rolling them out from the 8th of October.
Google Meet went free earlier this year in response to toe COVID-19 pandemic. Google is extending that free period through March 2021.
