Cheap tablets aren't too hard to come by, but finding a balance between affordability and performance can be tricky. Those in search of a deal might appreciate Amazon chopping 20% off the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, which is the company's budget option. One thing that separates Samsung's S10 Lite series from other budget tablets is the inclusion of the first-party S Pen, which is great for note-taking, drawing, and other activities that work best with a stylus.
Beyond that, the economy-level tablet comes with a downgraded LCD screen from the Galaxy lineup's mostly AMOLED offerings, though that's in part why the price tag is lower even than the FE model. It also still includes many of the basic Galaxy AI tools that users like, including Circle to Search, as well as a microSD slot for expandable storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite: $349.99 $279.99 at Amazon
Amazon is currently offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite for $80 off, marking a 20% overall discount. This particular deal is for the 128GB storage version of the tablet in gray.
✅Recommended if: you're looking for an affordable tablet with a stylus, and you've liked other Samsung Galaxy devices you've had; you're looking for a tablet that's around 11 inches without upgrading to some of the larger premium-level models; you want something with a long-lasting battery and fast charging for optimal productivity.
❌Skip this deal if: you're looking for one of the best Android tablets on the market and you have the budget to upgrade; you want something with a high-quality AMOLED display or more powerful performance than a budget tablet can offer; you're a Pixel user and you'd rather go with the Pixel tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite arrived on the tablet scene as a welcome budget option just beneath the FE. It features a few downgrades beneath the rest of the Galaxy Tab lineup, including an LCD screen instead of an AMOLED, but it comes at a lower cost and with the inclusion of the Samsung S Pen. The screen measures 10.9 inches and includes a 90Hz refresh rate, while the device also comes with some of the Galaxy ecosystem's latest AI features.
This discount is for the gray version of the tablet, and for the 256GB storage option. If that isn't enough for your needs, it also has a microSD card slot for expandable storage of up to 2TB.
Samsung also says the S10 Lite will offer up to 16 hours of battery life per charge, along with fast charging that can fully charge the device in about two hours. All in all, the under-$300 price tag marks a good time to pick it up if you're already in the market.
