PlayStation Vue TV service lands on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick; coming soon to Chromecast

Sony has announced that its PlayStation Vue TV service is expanding to the Amazon Fire TV. The service is also coming to the Fire TV Stick, and will arrive on Google's Chromecast soon as well.

PlayStation Vue, which is only available in select US cities for the moment, offers live and on-demand TV streaming of several channels, seeking to be a complete replacement for traditional cable or satellite TV service. The service has a number of channel package options. The basic Access package costs $49.99 per month and includes more than 50 channels, including CBS, NBC, Fox, AMC, and others. The Core tier, which will now cost $54.99 per month, features more local sports than the Access tier. Finally, the Elite package offers the contents of the other two tiers and more for $69.99.

Currently, only residents in the New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco and Miami TV markets can access PlayStation Vue. New members can sign up now for a seven-day free trial, and those that sign up for a Core or Elite subscription beginning November 15 can get a free Fire TV Stick with their first month paid subscription for a limited time.
