If you own an Android phone and want a new smartwatch, one of your best options is easily the Samsung Galaxy Watch.
The Galaxy Watch brings a lot to the table, with some of the highlights being a great design, rotating bezel for UI navigation, Samsung Pay, multi-day battery life, and more. All of that's fine and dandy, but if you're coming from a Wear OS / Android Wear device, how does it compare?
Here's what some of our AC forum members have to say.
What say you? How do you think the Galaxy Watch stacks up against Wear OS watches?
For my needs, I like the Galaxy Sport running Tizen over Wear OS. I don't use Google Assistant on my watch or phone. I do use notifications, timer and alarms, weather, health tracking, all of which work great on my Galaxy Sport. Battery life is amazing.
No contests TIZEN destroys Wear OS so easily it's comical.
IMO, the opposite is the case. Wear OS has developer support and a solid base of hardware manufacturers that use it, which ensures hardware variety that matches nearly everyone’s taste.
It's the best hardware missing the best software. WearOS on Galaxy Watch would have been Far better
I was sooooo pulling for a Samsung-made wearOS device this year. Guess that was too much to ask for.
