The ASUS ZenPad is expected to be revealed later this year at Computex and will arrive in 7- and 8-inch variants. The Intel-powered Android tablet with an aspect ratio of 4:3 will ensure the manufacturer keeps up with Apple, as well as other companies following suit when it comes to displays (with a resolution up to 2048x1536). Looking at the renders, we can see the "Intel Inside" logo on the rear of the tablet, confirming the processor configuration.

Interestingly, ASUS has opted to go for a slight leather feel with a strip wrapping around the product. There's the usual setup with volume rocker, power button, connector port, front and rear-facing cameras, and 3.5mm headphone jack for all your media needs. As well as the Intel Atom x3, the ASUS ZenPad 7 (Z170C) that also comes in a 3G version (Z170CG) is expected to have 1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB configurations.

The 8-inch version is the more powerful variant, which will also support increased amounts of storage. We last looked at the tablets as they sailed through FCC. With Computex just around the corner, and with renders leaking out online, we can't see the announcement being far off. Either way we'll be live from Taipei next week to bring you everything you need to know from the show.
