Asus PadFone X Mini making its way to AT&T later this month

Asus' entry-level PadFone X Mini is set to make its way to the US later this month, as AT&T announced earlier today that it would be offering the device for $199 without a contract to its GoPhone prepaid customers.

The smartphone part of the PadFone X Mini consists of a 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 853 x 480 pixels, dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 CPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, 5 MP camera, 2 MP camera at the front and a 2,060 mAh battery along with Asus' ZenUI atop Android 4.4 KitKat.

The tablet dock features a 7-inch 1280 x 800 display along with a 2,200 mAh battery. The hardware is is line what you get on budget devices, but with the PadFone X Mini you're essentially getting two devices for the price of one.

AT&T mentions that the PadFone X Mini will be available from October 24. Anyone interested in picking one up?
