While many of us are excited about the Samsung Galaxy S6, there's another S6 phone worth talking about. During a media event last night in New York, the ZTE Blade S6 caught our attention. It's powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, running the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It's currently available online globally in selected markets for $249.99 USD.
Let's take a look.

We played with the ZTE Blade S6 for a few minutes and it was snappy. Animations were smooth, apps opened up quickly, and we didn't see any choppiness while multitasking. The device also felt very thin at 7.7mm. At first glance, a lot of people are going to say it looks like an iPhone 6, but don't let its looks fool you. The metallic-looking body is actually plastic. Nevertheless, it feels very comfortable to hold.
We didn't have enough time to test them all out, but a key feature of the Blade S6 is called Smart Sense. It includes sets of gesture and motion controls that activate the flashlight, its built-in mirror application, camera, play music, and much more.
At $250, those who reside in supported markets should check out the ZTE Blade S6. It's not targeted for the US, so don't expect LTE support there. Does this phone from ZTE get your attention? Let us know in the comments!
