Three is the first UK network to announce that it'll be carrying Sony Ericsson's new Xperia Ray when it's released sometime during the third quarter. The Xperia Ray takes the tried-and-true internals of the Xperia Arc and Xperia Neo and shrinks things down even further, into a tiny 3.3-inch aluminum-framed chassis. Just like the Arc and the Neo, the Ray offers a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, an 8-megapixel Exmor R camera and of course Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Unfortunately there's nothing in the way of release dates or prices just yet, aside from the Q3 launch window given by Sony Ericsson at Wednesday's announcement.
