Tesco Mobile offering free music streaming with select smartphone upgrades

Tesco is set to team up with its Blinkbox music service to offer free music to its Mobile customers through summer. Those who upgrade their mobile device to a Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 or the Sony Xperia Z2 will receive three months of free access to the music service for free. They can then stream their favorite tracks over 4G LTE without additional cost.
The service itself boasts over 12 million tracks to choose from with personalized music stations and pre-populated mixes to boot. Supported contracts begin at £32.50 a month, which includes 1 GB of data allowance with 5,000 SMS and 750 minutes of call time. This promotion will run until July 20.

It's nice to see competition, but I think Tesco needs to rethink their contracts. They're not very useful for the flagship phones they've recently begun selling. 1GB data bundled with a free music streaming service... That's not going to end well. :)

But then isn't Blinkbox part of Tesco anyway? It's probably not much skin off their teeth to offer this.
