  • WoW... Huge phone looking forward to seeing it in real life.
  • thats ugly back button... apart from that it looks like Nexus 5
  • It actually looks rather nice. :)
  • I like the buttons on the back of my G2. Posted via Android Central App
  • This is the Nexus 6 base. Posted via Android Central App
  • G3 will be nexus 6 base, this is based on G2 Posted from my new Nexus 5
  • Um no. G2 shares a lot of specs with the Nexus 5 I am typing this on. Sent from my Nexus 5 :-D
  • Uh yeah...that's why they said the next Nexus will be based on the G3 if LG makes it. Guess nobody wants Moto to make it anymore lol. Could've been part of the deal... Posted via Android Central App
  • By a lot of specs you mean the processor? That's pretty much all they have in common. Different screen(by a different manufacturer), different battery, different dimensions, different styling, different camera, different OS... Posted via Android Central App
  • It has a LOT of specs shared with Nexus 5. Sent from my Nexus 5 :-D
  • Specs whore
  • Looks kinda good tho
  • Badass son!! My G Pro should be getting KitKat soon. Thinking about ditching my grandfathered unlimited data with at&t to go with tmo. What do you guys think? Am I crazy for even thinking that?
Edit: assuming that tmo gets this phone. Posted via Android Central App
  • I dropped 3 unlimited data VZW phones and switched to Tmo a few weeks ago. Couldn't be happier and save over 100 bucks a month. I also suggest the jump program.
Note: Nexus and iPhones do not support the Wi-Fi calling feature. Had to return my Nexus 5 for the G2. I am happy with the phone and all but loved the Nexus. Posted via Android Central App
  • I just moved to tmo and got note 3 Posted via Android Central App
  • I DUMPED VERIZON JUNE 2012. Now have three wonderful unlimited lines on Tmobile.
Looking to add lines 4 and 5 with the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Gear 3 in October 2014. Let me end with my favorite line made famous ::: Plain and simple nothing beats Tmobile or Samsung period ::: Posted from my Galaxy Note 3 on Tmobile via Android Central App

  • I appreciate your low-key activity of late. It makes your "contributions" more pleasant Posted via Android Central App
  • +1 Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • Wow that's a lot of lines. Sent from my Nexus 5 :-D
  • You're an idiot, and the number of "lines" you have is proof of that when the only person you're paying for, is yourself. You clearly have no clue what you're talking about and/or how to manage your money.
  • Haha, Richard you make me smile, lol. Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • I don't think LG is going to let ATT have the exclusive rights to this phone since they did such a shit job with the first G Pro. I could be wrong obviously. Posted via Android Central App
  • I used to think I couldn't survive without unlimited data. But I'm doing fine with a 3gig plan now. Plus overage data is usually only like $20/1gb. Posted via Android Central App
  • Also the knock code sounds awesome. You got to know the secret knock to get in to my phone Posted via Android Central App
  • Verizon? Posted via Android Central App
  • Probably not, the G Pro isn't on VZW
  • Sure it will.. But 6 months after everyone else, and they will change the back cover to some cheap easily scratchable material with a massive Verizon logo on it
  • And screw up the buttons so they're harder to use. Posted from my Nexus 7 2013 via Android Central App
  • They're already screwed up being on the back. Posted via Android Central App

  • Lmao, nice one.
  • Decent upgrade... Although that's probably too big. Posted via Android Central App
  • Playing catch up to note 3. Posted via Android Central App
  • Both phones are basically maxed out, the ois should give the edge to LG but other than that it just comes down to preference I suppose.
  • I like having an alternative to Samsung. Wish the HTC maxx was better but oh well. Posted via Android Central App
  • What's wrong with the One Max?
  • They did kinda dumb it down like a mini in reverse
  • Fair enough, brother. Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • $300 on contract
Snapdragon 600 in fall 2013(make it $200 on contract and I'd be OK with this)
They removed OIS from the camera
    Only 16 GB internal storage
  • Yeah, I see what you guys mean, now. Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • Yeah back when I was first looking for a new phone for myself, I had it down to the G2, SGS4, One Maxx. G2 and SGS4 didn't thrill me (I underrated the G2) so I waited thinking the Maxx would add a H-Pen. Then the specs hit and I was REALLY disappointed. Glad the series of events happened. The Note 3 is awesome as you know.
  • Yeah, and you saved A LOT of money from the Note 3 purchase, that you probably wouldn't have saved had you sprung for the One Max. Not to mention, you also got the 50 dollar Play Store voucher through Samsung. Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • Not with the note 4 being a bendable phone lol..and I'll be getting it. Posted via Android Central App
  • The Galaxy Note 3 has true multitasking abilities and productivity options that are definitely unparalleled to any device on the market today period. These abilities alone makes the Galaxy Note 3 the far better option over the Lg Gpro 2 and we haven't even discussed the Spen capabilities of the Note 3. Plain and simple nothing beats Samsung or the Galaxy Note products period. Posted from my Galaxy Note 3 on Tmobile via Android Central App
  • Eh... Posted from my TARDIS!
  • I agree. I'm a happy owner of a note 3. :) Posted via Android Central App
  • Good for you. Are you expecting a cookie or something?
  • I'll agree that the Note 3 could have the edge, due to the addition of the S Pen. But, for people that just want a bigger screen device and don't need to multi-task, the G Pro 2 might be the perfect fit. Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • No one cares about your opinion Posted via Android Central App
  • Should have called it "knock lock", but they are Korean and don't know how to market to Americans. via moto x.
  • Samsung is Korean and markets to Americans just fine. :/ Posted via Android Central App
  • I like it. But, I'm pretty sure, it's going to come to the States and be an AT&T exclusive.
  • So buy it from them and use it on T-MO Posted via Android Central App
  • It's not that simple, lol. I bought the Note 3, using the JUMP program. So, unless I pay off the Note 3, I won't be switching handsets until July, at the earliest.
  • My Nexus 5 looks better than it Posted via Android Central App from Nexus 7 2013
  • Preference and I disagree Posted via Android Central App
  • +1 to preference
  • +1 to preference I do, however, hate the LG logo. Posted from my TARDIS!
  • Wish it had a 805 Posted via Android Central App
  • I'm considering a 6 inch phone, and this may be it... Posted via Android Central App
  • I will stick with the Nexus 5. Been using the X for awhile but can't put down my nexus Posted via Android Central App
  • So a Note 3 without the S-Pen. If the speakers are any good, it is an alternative to the Note if you just use it for media consumption. If you use it for productivity, it is just another big phone (albeit with great specs if your into that kind of thing)
  • I'm pretty sure, the speakers are probably on-par or slightly better than the Note 3, but definitely not "Boom Sound" quality. Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • I'm not so sure. The g2 speakers didn't compare to the s4. Although note 3 doesn't either. But it's still louder than the g2. Hope LG fixed this on the pro
  • We'll see. I didn't know the S4 had better speakers than the G2 and Note 3. Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • Looks like a beast, if I didn't allready have my G2 I would definitely grab one of these. I had read on another article that this phone will have the best sounding speakers on the market? Not sure if it's true with the placement of the speakers but I guess we will have to wait for the reviews. Posted via Android Central App
  • I'd put money on the HTC M8 having the best speakers in 2014. But we'll see heh. Posted from my TARDIS!
  • How are you liking your G2? I picked mine up in January when I dropped Verizon and switched to T-Mobile, and I'm very impressed and content with the device. I'm more interested in seeing what the G3 has to offer. I'm also glad that I opted for the G2 over the Nexus 5 for battery life alone. LG's UI is decent, and hopefully we'll see a few improvements once it's updated to kitkat.
  • Looks darn good... njo¡!
  • Sheesh. Big phone. I don't think I could go over a 5 inch screen
  • So rear buttons are con a be LG's thing.... Posted via Android Central App
  • Nice!! Would love to see the performance/speed with the 802.11AC wifi. Overall, it seems great. Can't wait to get my hands on one. Posted via Galaxy S III
  • that is one sexy phone!
  • So plastic can look good Huh I thought everyone needed metal Posted via Android Central App
  • Wow, a company other than Samsung is still making a smartphone where the battery is user-accessible, I'm shocked! Posted via Android Central App
  • Yeah, I was kinda shocked to see the removable battery and the SD card slot. Posted from my "Gift from God" Note 3, my "God-Given" iPad Mini 2, or my "Risen" Samsung Chromebook.
  • Looks nice! I agree that the design reminds of a Nexus 5, but I think it´s quite different from Nexus 5 when it comes to specs. The battery on LG G Pro 2 is incomparably better and it has really cool features likes 4k recording and slow motion video recording, and BSI sensor: http://versus.com/en/lg-g-pro-2-vs-lg-nexus-5
Looking forward to try it :)
  • My galaxy note 3 might be taking a back seat on this one it looks real nice. Those specs were something I thought the HTC one Max was going to look like Posted via Android Central App
  • http://versus.com/en/lg-g-pro-2-vs-samsung-galaxy-note-3 if you look at this comparison, the note 3 still looks better! maybe lg has a bit more attractive design, but specs are all in favor to the note 3!
  • I own the Lg Gpro2 from Korea, and am very happy. There was one big issue that I want to post about, for others having audio sync issues with Netflix using the LG Gpro 2. This drove me nuts, until I searched for and downloaded the older Netflix 1.8.1 apk install file. This version is older, but perfectly useable, and it solved all of my annoying voice sync / lipflap issues where the audio did not match the lips. The newer versions of the Netflix app, as of December 2014, cause a delay on audio like this. If you have an LG G2, and are experiencing the same issues, then the 1.8.1 Netflix .apk will probably work, too, as the gpro2 is based on it.
  • Oh I also seem to have solved the Lg Gpro 2 Netflix studdering issues by using the older Netflix 1.8.1 .apk install.
