Sprint is partnering with Google to offer Google Apps for Business. The carrier wants businesses to see them as the only place they need to go for their mobile-centric, cloud-based office needs.

A dedicated support line will be established for 24/7 support to customers using Google Apps for Business. Anyone in a company using Google Apps for Business through Sprint will be able to access the line. Online training will be available at no extra cost. Sprint will also offer a number of "value-added" features such as single sign-on.

Sprint's support for Google Apps for Business will roll out in August.

It is a good move on their part the OEMs should be doing something like this not the carrier. Sprint is really trying to tap the business market.

These apps are already free to the public. I can't really see what Sprint can really add with these apps that a consumer can't do on their own...

These are free if you use a Google account. Google Apps for Business is another beast in itself, offering branding to the business while also using all the great features Google offers, with a ton of storage in the cloud. Google Apps for Business allows businesses to keep their own domain (business.com) while taking advantage of Googles Cloud products.

This is great - Sprint and Tmobile are evidently way more willing to innovate and provide great value to customers than AT&T and Verizon ever will..
