Huawei's latest high-end offering, the Mate S, is now available to pre-order in Europe. The phone can be had unlocked and carrier free through Huawei's Vmall store directly at a price of £469 in the UK and €649 in mainland Europe.
Don't expect to have it in hand any time soon, though, as lead times are currently 4-5 weeks for delivery.
Europe currently isn't down to get the Force Touch laden, "luxury edition," instead getting the base model in two colors. To recap, here are the specs of the version on offer

It isn't the cheapest phone you're going to come across, nor is it issue-free. We've had a couple of weeks with the Mate S to this point and as we've pointed out in our review, it's the same tune sung again: Good hardware, less good software.
As an aside, current information for UK buyers is that vMall will be the only place to get a Mate S at this point, with seemingly no plans for local carrier support.
