Motorola has published a new video on its YouTube channel to showcase its new Moto G exhibit. This new space will enable consumers to see just what's new in the family of smartphones, be it the mid-range and affordable Moto G4 or a more advanced Moto G4 Plus.
Sony has announced that the Xperia XA Ultra will be coming to Canada. As well as the newly announced smartphone, the company will also launch the Xperia X, X Performance, and XA in the region. While the mid-range X series of phones were announced back at MWC, many eyes will be on the upcoming XA Ultra release.
Xiaomi's VP Hugo Barra has shared a teaser on Twitter regarding the upcoming Google I/O 2016 conference. The company will attend with what looks to be potential Android TV news. Unfortunately, while the teaser is certainly indicating some kind of remote in the style of the Google I/O branding, it's unknown just what Xiaomi plans to reveal this week.
Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, has published a new render for the OnePlus 3 showing off a good looking handset that resembles the HTC 10 to a certain degree. And that's not a bad thing. Also according to Blass is the fact that this particular smartphone will have an AMOLED display and a 3000mAh battery to power everything.
Sony is building on the launch of three mid-range Xperia X series phones at MWC with a new model, the Xperia XA Ultra. As the name would lead you to believe, this is a big phone, with a 6-inch display that is dramatically larger than the 5-inch display of the standard XA though it retains the same looks as its smaller sibling.

MediaTek has seen a fourfold increase in its LTE-enabled SoC shipments in 2015, and the vendor is now looking to the Indian market to drive growth this year. Citing a burgeoning handset market — which saw a 23% increase in sales in Q1 2016 — MediaTek is expecting India to contribute over 10% of its global shipments for 2016.

It looks like Google will face a record €3 billion fine in the latest EU antitrust case. The regulator said that Google abused its dominant position with Android by bundling its own services like Google Search as default, making it harder for other companies to compete.

Android Pay could be on its way to the UK quite soon, at least according to one fast food chain. Pret A Manger is now advertising that it accepts the contactless payment service on its payment terminals at its London locations, suggesting that Android Pay will arrive in the country shortly.
