It's now possible to purchase the Nest smart thermostat and smoke detector directly through Google Play in both France and Ireland. Nest was purchased by Google earlier this year, enabling the tech giant to pick up new hardware that helps consumers keep their homes warm and safe, while saving some pennies on the side.
Both products from Nest are available in the devices category on the Google Play Store. Respective pricing is €219 and €109 for the Nest and Nest Protect. As an added bonus, Europeans can pick up a Nest stand too, which is awesome if you wish to have the thermostat on a table.
