Vodafone's Smart Platinum 7 is now available in the UK

Vodafone announced the Smart Platinum 7 last week and now the handset is available for purchase (opens in new tab) from the UK mobile operator. If you're okay with paying for the device upfront, you can grab the phone on Pay As You Go for £295, or £28 per month on contract, which will include 1GB of 4G, 500MB of roaming, as well as unlimited SMS and calls.

Smart Platinum 7 sports a Snapdragon 652 processor, 5.5-inch 2K display, 32GB of internal storage, 3GB RAM, 3000mAh battery, 16MP main shooter (8MP front-facing selfie taker), and runs Android 6.0.1. As an added bonus, the company will throw in a Vodafone Smart VR headset with orders, which allows you to use the Platinum 7 as a driver for an alternative experience.

  • I think in this case oneplus 3 is far more superior offer. Posted via the Android Central App
  • Outrageous pricing. I got an S7 on that network, with 3gb of data for the same monthly price. Posted via the Android Central App
  • I had enough of Vodafone today after 3 weeks. Billing me £121 so far for data, sms and calls, when it was all included in my one month plan.
Endless hours contact with them different ways about warning texts which they told me originally to ignore.
They finally conceded they never added the bundle in error when the account let me produce itemised charges. I couldn't cancel and get a PAC code until the bill is produced on the 30th or I would have to challenge it again. Outrageous. I thought Three were bad.
Customer service doesn't exist for them. Letting it out there on my birthday. (Cougn) :p oh yeh, I was initially impressed with this phone, but it now looks like overkill with a 2k screen for that spec, and yes they're not giving them away either.
