Verizon posts change log for Android 4.4.4 update for Droid Ultra, Maxx, and Mini

After Motorola Mobility had confirmed that the Android 4.4.4 KitKat software update is "well under way" for many of its devices, including those in the Droid range, it looks like Verizon Wireless is now posting change logs on what to expect. The Android 4.4.4 update logs are now posted for all three Droids in the series including the Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, and Droid Mini.

The update will bring some bug fixes, stability enhancements, and some new features. Users will appreciate an improved camera experience with better image quality, more stable Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a new ISIS app for NFC payments. Verizon is also pre-loading the phone with new apps for Visual Voicemail and VZ Cloud.

Verizon is highlighting that users can update over the air on their devices and they should begin to receive notifications soon if they haven't already.

Given that the change log has posted, the update should begin to roll out soon if it hasn't already yet.

This is quite a short turnaround time from when soak tests were made available just days ago!

Have you received the OTA notification for the Android 4.4.4 update yet?
