Toshiba's 50-inch 4K Fire TV on sale for $280 lets you control your smart home from the remote

The Toshiba 50-inch 50LF621U19 4K HDR Smart TV has dropped to $279.99 on Amazon, bringing it back to the lowest we've ever seen it reach there. This TV regularly sells for around $350 on average. Today's deal is a price-match of a one-day sale at Best Buy, so it's likely we won't see it around come tomorrow.

Toshiba's 4K HDR Smart TV has full 4K resolution and Fire TV built in. The Fire TV gives you access to all your favorite streaming apps like Netflix and Prime Video, but it also has Alexa-enabled skills and can work with the included voice remote for voice activation. The remote lets you talk to Alexa, search for titles, switch inputs, control your smart home and more. If you have an HDTV antenna, you can integrate the over-the-air channels with your streaming channels.

If the Toshiba deal is still over your budget, Amazon also has the Insignia 39-inch 1080p Fire TV for $149.99. This TV normally sells for up to $230 and comes with all the smarts of the model above.
