When Black Friday rolled around last year, the Pixel Tablet turned out to be one of the more popular deals. Well, Black Friday 2025 is upon us, and the Pixel Tablet has yet again dropped to its lowest price ever, coming in at $249, a savings of $150.

For some, the Pixel Tablet has transformed into a pseudo-replacement for the Nest Hub Max, especially if you have a Charging Dock. However, even if you just want to use it as a regular tablet, or want to get your hands on the Pixel Tablet before it's gone, now's your chance.

Don't sleep on the Pixel Tablet, as it's still more than capable despite being almost three years old. And at this price, you might even be enticed to pick up a second one.

Price comparison: Amazon - $314 | Google - $249

✅Recommended if: you want a reliable Android tablet that isn't inundated with a bunch of unnecessary ads that get in the way of enjoying the experience.

❌Skip this deal if: you're worried about what's going to happen to the Pixel Tablet once Google stops releasing updates for it.

I've had the Pixel Tablet since it was released, and it's one of the few devices that I use every single day. No, I don't use it like a traditional tablet, but instead, it sits on the Charging Speaker Dock and operates as my smart home hub. This is where it excels the most, at least for my needs, as I have other tablets that handle things like gaming or working.

Unlike some of the other best Android tablets, the Pixel Tablet doesn't really do anything spectacular. It's kind of the same feeling that I get when using a Pixel phone that isn't the Fold, as it just serves a purpose without any frills. Frankly, it's pretty refreshing when you think about the different ads and features that are sandwiched into other tablets, which really only serve to slow everything down.

The elephant in the room here is that we're just a few months away from when the last Android OS update is expected to come to the Pixel Tablet. After June 2026, the only updates the Pixel Tablet will receive will be the monthly security patches, which are slated to continue until June 2028.

There's been speculation about Google offering a way to re-purpose the Pixel Tablet, but we haven't really seen anything concrete. That said, it's not like the tablet will be completely abandoned in 2026, we just won't see any major Android OS updates come to it.

Even still, at $249, this is one hell of a deal.
