T-Mobile announced via Twitter today that their upcoming mid-range Android devices—Samsung’s Exhibit 4G (left) and Gravity Smart (right)—will be released on Wednesday, June 22. For those who don’t recall, the Exhibit 4G’s got a 1GHz processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, front and rear cameras, and an HSPA+ radio, all packed into your choice of a violet or black exterior. The Gravity Smart has a slide-out keyboard, a 3MP rear camera, and Android 2.2 Froyo, and comes in your choice of Berry Red, Sapphire Blue, and Lunar Grey hues. The Exhibit 4G and the Gravity Smart are priced at a cool $80 and $70 respectively, while the Smart’s Lunar Grey variety is pegged at an even cooler $30. Now if only a similar mid-level device with decent specs and same price point would come out on Verizon...I know some folks that would love it.
The Exhibit has been available for purchase at Costco since last week. Looks like a slick little phone.
