What you need to know
- Leaked CAD-based renders of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S7 have surfaced.
- The renders suggest the next flagship Android tablet from Samsung will not look very different from the current Tab S6.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is rumored to come with an 11-inch display and a 7,760mAh battery.
Samsung's upcoming flagship Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab S7+, was certified by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) earlier this week. Popular leaker OnLeaks has now joined hands with tech accessories store Pigtou to share the first factory CAD-based renders of the smaller Galaxy Tab S7.
The renders suggest the upcoming 11-inch Galaxy Tab S7 will have a fairly similar design to the current Galaxy Tab S6. The tablet's bezels do not appear to be significantly thinner, and the back looks fairly similar as well. Like the Galaxy Tab S6, the Tab S7 will have a dual-camera array on the back, although it appears the upcoming tablet will include an LED flash as well. While these renders do not show an S Pen, the Galaxy Tab S7 is expected to come with one.
Sadly, the key tech specs of the Galaxy Tab S7 still remain a mystery. We expect it to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 865 chipset, paired with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The tablet is also expected to have 5G support and a 7,760mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6
The Galaxy Tab S6 has been designed for consumers looking for a modern Android tablet that offers class-leading hardware, great battery life, and smooth performance. It also comes with the S Pen, making it a productivity powerhouse.
Bring back the 8" version :(. It's this I want. I'm still using my 5 year old Tab S2 8" as there's never been a better small Android tablet released. It's got a dated look though.
Bro now days phones are nearly 7 incs....tab at 8 doesn't have sense....i think 10 to 11 Inc is good size to work with....was going to by S6 tab but will wait for S7
Different aspect ratios. 4:3 vs 20:9. Totally different experience. Better for media consumption, better for news reading. Besides plenty of people's phones are not nearly 7". Why do you think Apple still sell one? Sure it's a good size but I already own a Surface Pro X so two large tablets is overkill.
So glad they're going to have a flash on it. Cost was a minor factor, but I went with the S4 over the S6 for that reason.
Can I ask why you wanted a flash? I probably take 3 pictures a year with a tablet and don't even find a need for a back camera.
I just want a fast 4K media tablet for video, reading, and limited browsing. I don't need a SPen, LTE, or to play games, take pictures or record video, or try to simulate a laptop. I usually end up purchasing old STabs. They are fast (processing downloaded 4K video and connecting to WiFi). Their A Tabs or other budget ones are too slow loading apps and video...
