Did they switch back to USB 2 for the connection? and yeah no IPx specs like the S5?
-
yeah what's up with usb 2.0?
-
Honestly USB3.0 was pretty much useless on the NOTE 3. Nothing every materialized from having the functionality included. If memory serves me right users that tried to use USB3.0 to transfer files also ended up with ZERO improvement with speed. Basically the Flash/SD Card is not fast enough to really take advantage of it The only real improvement should be from faster charging from a Computer. Basically raising the power output of the USB port on the source deivce from 500 milliamps to 900 milliamps. But that still takes to long and you are better off just using a good 2 am charger with good a USB 2.0 cable

On the SGS4 the internal flash memory gets speeds of 100MB/s+. I'm sure that if you wrote directly to that instead of an SD then you would see the advantage.

This phone is awesome with its curved edges. I plan on selling my S5 for the curve. Posted via Android Central App

According to these specs, the Edge is thinner and lighter (though slightly wider) than the Note 4. That seems hard to believe.
-
Ya know, showing the back of these devices is pretty useless when the distinguishing features are on the front, or in the case of the Edge, the front edge. The backs all look nearly the same. Turn them around, please.

Out of curiosity, why is the max microsSD card supported 64GB? There are some phones that came out before this that support 128GB.
-
I picked up a Note Edge in Japan yesterday and it does support 128GB there must have been a typo in the literature that was passed out to most of the tech bloggers.

it's awesome! galaxy note edge is superb
-
yeah! It's really fantastic!! I loved it.
-
Will it support QI Wireless Charging? Will it be like earlier notes and have the internal pins, for a charging card to work with?
-
I saw a YouTube video where they took the back cover off. It has the pins for a wireless charging card.

I think Samsung has really hit one out of the park on this phone and it has the s pen. what took so long? . Its a pretty cool design and when you read the specs and then you look at the price you automatically think what's the catch. Its wickedly fast and powerful at a low price. A 16 mp camera is really great and the front facing cam has 3.7. Its usually like 2.0 or something. I have the LG G2 Android from verizon, It has a 13mp and a 2mp camera. So, when I saw 16mp cam with 3.7 on the facing cam. I was impressed.Think of all the selfies. The picture quality on my LG G2 is pretty darn good especially after you download a few 3d apps, and if you play around with the color schemes in sms go pro massaging, I can really make it look like the messages are coming out of the phone or go the opposite effect and make it look like the messages are floating inside of a box. One can only wonder what a phone like this can do or what I can do to it, because one is stuck in a contract for now.
