  • OnePlus is set to launch its first budget entry-level Smart TV series in India on July 2.
  • It is rumored that the affordable OnePlus TV lineup will start at around $200.
  • OnePlus launched its first smart TV in September last year at a starting price of $1,000.

OnePlus ventured into the Smart TV market in September last year, with the OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro models. Nine months later, the company has announced that it plans to make its premium Smart TV experience "more accessible." OnePlus will be launching its new Smart TVs in India on July 2 at an online-only event that will begin at 7 PM IST.

As per a report from ET Telecom, OnePlus' upcoming entry-level Smart TVs will start at around ₹15,000 ($200). In addition to new entry-level Smart TVs, OnePlus will reportedly launch a new "mid-range" series as well, which is expected to be priced in the ₹20,000 ($265) - ₹40,000 ($530) range.

The OnePlus Q1 is among the more affordable 4K QLED TVs on the market. It comes with HDR10, HDR10+, as well as Dolby Vision certification and promises an immersive audio experience with 50W audio output.
