Enhance your productivity on Samsung's new tablets with a Bluetooth keyboard case
Earlier today Samsung announced two new tablets, the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro, and now Logitech is announcing two new cases for these devices. The Logitech Pro is their latest keyboard case that features several design tweaks to make it work best with Samsung's new devices. With Samsung bringing these devices in a 12.2 inch form factor Logitech was able to get a full sized Bluetooth keyboard inside the case which is something many people will enjoy.
Some of the other features of the case are the ultra slim design that Logitech was able to pull off by using state of the art materials. They have also added protection for bumps, spills, and scratches with near full protection once inside of the case. Utilizing a SecureLock system Logitech is able to ensure that the tablet won't come loose once clipped in, and they have added the ability to have two different viewing angles depending on how you are using the device. When it comes to battery life Logitech has gone way above and beyond and they claim that the device will last for up to three months on a single charge with around two hours of use each day.
Logitech has announced that they will begin selling the Logitech Pro in February 2014 for a suggested retail pricing of $129.
Logitech Introduces First Protective Case with Keyboard for the New Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and Galaxy TabPRO
Logitech PRO Provides Laptop-Like Typing Packaged in a Thin Protective Case
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Jan. 6, 2014 — Today Logitech (SIX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI) announced the expansion of its market-leading tablet accessories lineup with Logitech® PRO, a slim protective case with a full-size, built-in Bluetooth® keyboard for the new 12.2-inch Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and Samsung Galaxy TabPRO. The precision-engineered, two-sided folio provides durable protection in a slim design to keep your Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and Galaxy TabPRO safe while on the go.
“Samsung designed these new tablets with a 12.2-inch, crystal clear display to enhance productivity and media consumption, and with this in mind we created Logitech PRO,” said Mike Culver, vice president of tablet products at Logitech. “Logitech PRO helps protect both sides of your tablet, while maintaining a slim design for daily use on the go. Couple that with its full-size keyboard and dedicated shortcut keys, and it is the perfect combination to maximize productivity and protection in a case that perfectly complements the mobility of your Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and Galaxy TabPRO.”
Logitech PRO features a full-size keyboard, with well-spaced keys to provide an identical typing experience as on your laptop. For added convenience, it has a row of Android shortcut keys such as recent apps, quick panel and e-mail.
Covering the front and back of your Galaxy NotePRO or Galaxy TabPRO with a durable and wipeable exterior, Logitech PRO helps protect your tablet from accidental bumps, scratches and spills. Its SecureLock system keeps your Galaxy NotePRO or Galaxy TabPRO firmly fastened to the folio with lightweight, low-profile clips. This system is designed so your tablet won’t fall out of the keyboard folio accidentally, yet it is easy to insert and remove.
Logitech PRO doubles as a dual-view stand, which holds your Galaxy NotePRO or Galaxy TabPRO in two ideal positions: upright with the keyboard exposed for a perfect typing angle, or lying flat with the keyboard hidden for easy browsing, reading or drawing with the S Pen.
Logitech PRO for Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and Galaxy TabPRO will be on display at the Pepcom Digital Experience Showcase at the 2014 International CES, on Jan. 6, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nev. It will also be on display at the 2014 International CES in Samsung’s booth, N106, at the Las Vegas Convention Center Jan. 7-10, 2014.
