Hands-on with the Viewsonic Viewpad 7e

We have seen some Viewsonic tablets in the past, and heard they had some new ones in the works, and we were able to get some time with the Viewsonic Viewpad 7e ahead of its launch. The Viewsonic Viewpad 7e is the entry level 7-inch tablet that they are launching in October, it will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, instead of Android 3.2 Honeycomb, like its big brother, the 7x. The device has a 800x600 display powered by a 1GHz processor, but unfortunately will not have Google Market support. The Viewpad 7e will launch with Amazon Appstore integration so you are not left without any applications, and will come preloaded with numerous apps, such as Twitter, TuneIn Radio and Amazon Kindle.

At the $199 price point it is sure to please a number of users who are looking for something small and portable to take with them on the go. Hit the break for more more pictures!
