Google today announced a bunch of new updates to its Play Pass subscription service, which lets users access hundreds of apps and games for a single monthly fee. The latest updates, according to Google, will make it easier for users to get started with Play Pass.
Over the past few months, Google has been adding new titles to the Play Pass catalog every month. It recently added The Almost Gone from Playdigious and is set to release more exciting titles such as The Gardens Between and Kingdom Rush later this year.
Google is also introducing a new annual subscription option for Play Pass, priced at $29.99 per year in the U.S. If you have a monthly Play Pass subscription, you can upgrade to the new annual plan by heading over to the Play Pass tab in the Play Store app on your device and tapping on "Upgrade to a yearly subscription."
In addition to the new updates, Google is expanding the service to nine new markets: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Android users in these markets will be able to subscribe to the monthly Play Pass subscription plan starting this week.
