The Amazon Echo is now even smarter thanks to the addition of Pandora as well as scores and schedules for the MLB and MLS.
Amazon has added some new services to the Amazon Echo including Pandora and new sports information. The Echo can now play your favorite Pandora station with just a voice command. Once the account is added to the Echo app, under "music services" in Settings, you can begin with commands like "Alexa, play a Pop station on Pandora". In addition to being able to start a station you've previously created, you can create new stations, pause and skip on your current station and even give the thumbs up or down to a song.
Beyond Pandora, Amazon has added schedule and scoring information for both the MLB and MLS, so now sports enthusiasts can keep up with their favorite teams as well. Voice commands like "Alexa, when do the San Francisco Giants play next?" can make sure you don't miss the next game, or "Alexa, what was the score of the Seattle Sounders game?" will keep you in-the-know if you can't tune in and watch the game.
To gain the additional functionality you will want to make sure you have the most current version of the Amazon Echo app from Google Play.
