If the Google Play store's not your thing, German retailer Media Markt has the upcoming Nexus 4 listed at €395 (including that whole VAT thing), with a release date of Dec. 15. That's just about a full month past the official German release from Google Play, though, so you're going to have to exercise a little patience But options are always good, even if they'll make you wait a little.

Google opens up Nexus 4 orders on Nov. 13 in the U.S., UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain and Australia.

@Author:
The 395,- € are already including the VAT (and it's the 16GB version) ;)

ArKay74 says:

Prices in Google Play are usually incl. VAT but without shipping (€10). So €395 seems a little too expensive for the 16GB model (which is €359 in Play).

Why would anyone pay €50 more? It's available on Google Play in Germany a whole month before.

I thought the translation is pretty good :)

"The Nexus 4 from LG is [decked out] with the most modern hardware, the newest version of Android, and the newest Google Apps. You hold the best from Google in your hand, guaranteed."

Those funny Germans :)
