The Amazon Echo can now read you a bedtime story with added Audible integration.

Amazon seems to be on fire lately with adding new features to its Echo speaker and quasi-assistant. The latest feature to be added to the roster is integration with Audible.

The integration with Audible works just as you'd expect, with the Amazon Echo simply reading books back when prompted. To get started, you simply say the phrase "Alexa, read" followed by the book title. Similarly, you can control playback by telling Alexa to go back or forward. Finally, Amazon notes that Echo support Whispersync for voice, allowing you to switch off between listening to your Kindle book and reading it in the Kindle app.

With the influx of useful features Amazon keeps adding to Echo's roster, the device is becoming quite handy.
