If you've never tried Amazon Assistant before, you're in luck. With Prime Day now just days away, Amazon has yet another early deal available exclusively for Prime members to help make your membership well worth its annual cost. The Amazon Assistant is a browser extension that helps you stay on top of price comparisons, wishlist items, and your latest Amazon orders, and today you can save $10 off your purchase of $50 or more when you download the extension and click on the offer in your browser toolbar once it's been installed.
To gain access to this offer, you'll first need an Amazon Prime account, and you'll also need to have never used the Assistant tool before. If you're not a Prime member yet, you can start a free 30-day trial to make your account eligible for all of this month's Prime-exclusive deals, including the ones we'll see next week during Prime Day.
First-time users of the Amazon Assistant app can score $10 off an order of $50 or more through August 2, and there's no better time to take advantage of that deal than during Prime Day.
Limited Time Only
Amazon Assistant allows you quick shortcut access to your orders, your universal registry and lists, and other popular Amazon webpages. My personal most-used feature of the add-on comes into play when you're browsing a different retail site, such as Walmart or Best Buy. The extension will enable small pop-ups under your URL bar that show Amazon's current price for the item along with a link to it directly. That can often let you know whether Amazon has price-matched the item or if they have it available for even cheaper than the current store you're browsing.
This browser extension can be used with most major desktop browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Once installed, the $10 off $50 offer will be available for your account through August 2. This deal is also available for Amazon UK customers.
