See who's there from anywhere with Ring's Video Doorbell Pro down to $149

Update: The price has dropped to $149, matching the lowest we've ever seen. It has only dropped this low once before, and you can bet this deal won't last long.

A simple doorbell is no longer enough. You need a doorbell that can communicate with you. And one that lets you communicate with it. B&H has the Ring Video Doorbell Pro (opens in new tab) on sale for $149. That's a huge discount off its regular $249 price, which is what you'll find it going for on Amazon (opens in new tab) these days. With the new drop to $149, this price matches a low we last saw in August.

Use your phone to view live video or use Alexa to communicate with whoever is there. Provides 1080p video with a 160-degree field of view. Uses integrated infrared LEDs for night vision. Includes motion detection and bank-grade encryption.

This is one of the best video doorbells you can put on the front of your door. You will replace your existing hardwired doorbell, and it comes with four different colored faceplates so you can match the exterior of your home. Then you just leave it there! The Pro is designed to work in any temperature with an operating range between -5 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit. You'll also get lifetime protection from theft, so you don't have to worry about some jerks running off with it.

The camera has a 160-degree field of view that covers a huge space in front of your door. It can record in 1080p resolutions for crystal clear video, and there are integrated infrared LEDs so you can still see who's at the door even at night. Considering it gets dark at like 2 p.m. these days (thanks Daylight Savings or the sun or whatever), that's an important feature. The video that gets transmitted is extra secure, too, thanks to bank-grade encryptions.

You'll also get 30 days of Cloud recording for free. Additional storage requires a subscription. You'll get up to six months with the subscription and unlock other features like the ability to share the video with friends or law enforcement.

The device comes with mounting hardware, a Pro power kit, and a one-year warranty from B&H.

  • While the Pro has slightly better motion detecting, the doorbell 2 is on sale now for 139 at various places. Kohl's will have it at that price with $30 kohl's dash. Costco will have it for 129 with a 1 yr subscription plan
