Galaxy S10 Specifications: S10, S10+, S10e, S10 5G specs in one place

There's good news and bad news. The good news is that the Galaxy S10 and S10+ are mostly identical save for a couple of small features. The bad news is that both the Galaxy S10 and S10+ are significantly more expensive than their 2018 counterparts.
Wait, there's more good news and bad news.
The more good news is that the Galaxy S10e is a pretty great phone with few compromises for a release price of just $750. The bad news is that the Galaxy S9 started at $729 so it's not exactly cheap.
There's also one more thing: Samsung's coming out with a 5G version of the Galaxy S10, and its specs are insane.

Something doesn't look right in the comparison table. The S10 5G only has 8GB ram, 256GB and not expandable???
-
I was thinking the same thing.
-
Probably to keep the price down when it's released.
-
I can't wait to see how Andrew Martonik rationalizes that, compared to these, the Pixel 3/XL is still the best Android phone you can buy.
-
That would definitely be good for a chuckle.
-
He's not wrong in my opinion the Pixels have what I want, clean fast bloat and clutter free software along with being first in line for software updates and security updates directly from Google. Samsung makes nice and pretty hardware but their software just isn't for me along with the slow updates.
-
But IF you did still have your pixel 2xl, my essential phone would get updated before the pixel line.
-
This is BS that Samsung is releasing a 5G only S10, but technically all S10 uses the same Qualcomm 855 that supports 5G. Disappointed that they try to just milk the 5G tag.
-
Not remotely true.
5g has nothing to do with SD855 and it brings a lot of cost in the making as well as design of the internals. -
SD855 is the first SOC that supports 5G from Qualcomm and I believe the 5G modem is actually embedded. I am not 100% sure on this though. Also, manufacturers design PCB so it's 1 piece that supports multiple builds as long as the chips are populated. When you say 5G has nothing to do with SD855 is definitely wrong.
-
Don't care as I have no intention of being Samsung ever. Pixel FOR LIFE and if Google stops making Pixels and stock Android disappears then I've already decided I'll switch back to iPhone reluctantly.
-
Lmao damn! You hate Samsung that much that you'll rather switch to a crappy iPhone? Funny.
-
It's beno. He's the only one who's a bigger Google suck-up than Andrew Martonik.
-
Wait... Beno's back??? Now THAT'S groundbreaking news! 😁
-
Yes I would rather use an iPhone than Samsung. I refuse to drink the Samsung cool aid like most of you. Pixel is my phone of choice over Samsung and Apple.
-
You're not drinking Kool aid, but you smoking something. 😂
-
And I have the right to MY OPINION. I WON'T USE ANY ANDROID FLAGSHIP PHONE THAT ISN'T A PIXEL GOT THAT THROTTLE JOHNNY GOOD?
-
I would never use an iPhone over my Note 9. I've been a Nexus and Pixel user for years, and finally switched over to Samsung. They just make better phones than Google now. Hardware, software, features, everything. Pixel 2XL was BORING.
-
Good for you, I'm a software and pure Android guy I don't follow the cult of Samsung and while I like their hardware, I prefer Google's own take on Android along with fast updates and security updates and a bloat free experience something Samsung will never offer so there for will never consider their phones. For me Samsung users aren't any better than Apple users but if it was only between Apple and Samsung, I'd pick Apple, while they don't innovate, I prefer their way of doing things over Samsung but overall I prefer Google Pixel over both as I get an iPhone like experience with all the customisation of Android as well as having the best cameras on a smartphone. I don't like to tinker with my phone too much unless I'm using a none Pixel phone because with a Pixel it's the perfect set up for me.
-
lol the Pixel 3XL sucks @$$
-
Why are ppl talking about pixels on a. Galaxy s10 post lol
-
Beno is always lost, and irrational. He's like your old drunk uncle.... Dilusional chirping.... he'll complain someone told him a 12GB RAM phone is laggy, like 2008.
-
Because I'm not with the cult of Samsung y'all are NO BETTER than iSheep's. I want a phone that reflects me as a person and the Pixels are the phones that offer me what I want.
-
How are you any different?
-
I'm beginning to wonder if he receives compensation for spouting the glorious wonders of the Pixel phone while pretending that the Samsung flagship phones are crap. He is just all over the place.
-
Sooo an incremental bump in specs, like every year, and a higher price tag. I like the phone but damn these price increases are crap.
-
I don't want any of these phones, but I can't say they're not worth the asking prices. The improvements aren't incremental at all. If you think so, you're not paying attention. They're offering a lot of excellent features and quality for the price. This post doesn't mention a lot of the things they added, like the HDR 10 display and HDR 10 recording, the 1200 nit display, how good the ultra-wide angle lens is, etc. They're even offering ceramic as an option, which is something I've been asking for. You pretty much get what you pay for. I MIGHT be interested in the Note 10, but if not, I'd rather get a cheap phone like a 2018 OP6T or one of this year's cheap phones.
-
How would you like to get the same wage year after year unless your job performance increases drastically? 😋
-
So just get last years phone then, what's the problem here?
-
Looks like the S10e is the direct replacement for the S9. That's what I'd go with if I were to order one. I don't want anything larger than my S9
-
I just want a flagship phone that will fit in my hand :(. Sony has it right with their compact line.
-
Holy cow they ruined the S10e with that pricing at $750? Can anyone SERIOUSLY justify this over a OnePlus 6T at $559 for the 6GB/128GB? I was waiting to see what Samsung would price this at, but I'll be ordering a OnePlus this week instead. Damn, Samsung, what a letdown.
-
Can you justified that One Plus price when Xiaomi Mi 9 only cost under $500?!!
-
Yes, because Xiaomi doesn't have a US storefront for their phones. You have to get them grey market
-
Good thing US isn't the only country out there. Mi 9 takes the cake for the best bang for your buck
-
Selecting 512gb on the reservation page is impossible. FYI.
-
I did not expect such expansive improvements..... I'm prepared to call the S10+ a legitimate upgrade. But I was that guy who preordered a Note 8.... I did so because is was a massive upgrade from my Note 5. Personally, I have no reason to upgrade until 5G is everywhere.... And I doubt it will ever be everywhere for the technical problems 5G has.... Maybe I'm two years away from upgrading.... Or three.... A Note 13 would be unlucky.... Lol. Well done Samsung.... Without question the S10+ is the best Android phone on the planet.... And an iPhone crusher. But no, I don't expect it to sell well.... Too many phones are in the market doing enough really well at prices the mass market can afford..... The S10+ and its friends are in a very exclusive, high end market.
-
Samsung STILL won't be able to beat Google in camera and Android software which the latter is subjective. For me I'd pick the Pixel over over other phone not just Android phones because the Pixel has what I want in an Android Flagship phone.
-
All that power and still uses QC 2.0
-
Honestly I'm not liking the narrow mindedness of the Android community on here, sure I won't use any of the otherAndroid Flagship phone but I'm not gonna rule out an iPhone again either. I'm kinda open minded. But iPhone is only if Google gives up on the Pixel or Android One dies but Pixel is my first choice as I prefer it.
-
Ironic how a pixel sheep is calling out the narrow mindedness of the community.
-
I don't follow the herd like you Samsheep, I like being different and I like pure Googlefied Android and won't use anything else. My opinion, my choice and I couldn't care less about what people think, you can keep your ugly skinned Android I'll stick with Google's vision (which is how Android should be in my opinion) ellitist snobs
-
I'm torn between S10 and S10e.
Thinking of upgrading, but battery life is quite important.
I was just curious if simple calculation of battery size per number of pixels should indicate battery performance (all other things, ie. apps running in background, being constant). I average 2 hours screen on time daily, and with Nexus 6P I always has gotten 2 days. Changed to Essential and that dropped to one day (AMOLED vs. LCD). So on paper S10e has better battery size to screen pixel count than S10 by abour 62%.
I'm not really into screen size hype, I'm happy with my 5.7 on Essential. -
You can get average of 2 days with Nexus 6P? Wow that's impossible for me. I can barely get 1 hour even when the phone is idle. There was a huge class action lawsuit on Nexus 6P about how the battery degenerated so quickly, and mine was affected by it. Never buying another Huawei made lol.
-
So does anyone know which version of S10+ gets 12GB of RAM? The table doesn't really specify where the break down is and the Samsung's website doesn't list it either.
-
S10+ in ceramic only. That model comes in 512 GB and 1 TB storage options.
-
I am more asking on which version of S10+ gets 12GB of ram. I found out that only S10+ with 1TB and ceramic comes with 12GB of RAM. S10+ with 512GB/ceramic still only comes with 8GB.
-
They forgot about ANT+ in connectivity section.
-
Sorry but the S10 plus is only 7.4mm thick? Everywhere else has it at 7.8mm??? I've preordered mine so I'll see. First android phone was my trusty s8plus.. upgrading after 2 years. Have to say it's my best phone ever. Don't mind the software at all either (but still think wp is my all time favourite) Hope the S10 plus serves me as well..
-
You will enjoy S10+ even more with the new ONE-UI. Everywhere I read that it's the best SW samsung ever came up with.
-
The picture prominently shows a yellow S10 but doesn't list it as one of the available colors.
