Even a year after their release, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus remain some of the best wireless earbuds on the market. The true wireless earbuds have a regular retail price of $149.99, though we have seen some discounts on that since the release of the Galaxy Buds Pro.

For some colorways, today's deal at Amazon offers a record-low price, matching the lows set during Cyber Monday of last year. At just $99.99, you are saving $50 off their regular price for every color. The only catch is that the sale is good for today only or until sold out.

With the Galaxy Buds Plus, you'll get up to 11 hours of battery life per earbud and the included case also doubles as a wireless charger so you can extract another 11 hours there before you ever have to connect the case to a USB-C or wireless charger. The Buds Plus sound great thanks to AKG tuning and an optimized driver for substantial bass. With noise-cancelling mics, you'll also sound great when making calls.

When paired with an Android phone, you'll benefit from Ambient Aware2 which lets you control how much of the surrounding noise you let in. In some situations, like on public transport or an airplane, you just want to block as much noise as possible (which these buds achieve via passive noise-isolation, rather than active noise-cancellation). If you're walking down the street, your priority might change to wanting to hear your surroundings so you're more aware of traffic. You can program the earbuds to turn ambient mode on or off with a tap so you don't need to pull your phone out either.

One neat feature the Galaxy Buds Plus have over the previous gen is Spotify integration. This means that you can assign a specific playlist to a tap gesture directly on your earbuds. For heavy Spotify users on Android, this is a really nice feature to have.

The earbuds themselves work with both iOS and Android devices, though some features, like those mentioned above, are Android-specific. You can connect via Bluetooth to pretty much anything. On iOS, you'll get access to voice commands through Siri rather than Google Assistant on Android.
