HTC Desire 610 could be on its way to Verizon

It appears that the HTC Desire 610 may be Verizon-bound. A newly-certified device with the model number OP90300 has appeared at the FCC with support for Verizon's network.
The HTC Desire 610 aims to be an affordable phone with a 4.7-inch display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of storage, expandible via microSD up to 128 GB, an 8-megapixel camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, and a 2,040mAh battery. It features similar design language to the HTC One M8, although the Desire 610 is made of plastic rather than metal.
What do you think of the HTC Desire 610 potentially coming to Verizon? Let us know in the comments.

Has this phone for about a month now. Got it free on contract from Vodafone here in Greece. My expectations were not high but I have been very pleasantly surprised. It doesn't seem to bog down even when I have multiple apps on the go,it's very easy to use, blink feed is extremely useful and customizable and it is extremely comfortable in the hand. What's not to like?

OK... Having a hard time with this... What is the Difference between this and the HTC One 2 (Remix?) Other than the material.
-
The HTC One Remix has a 720p screen at 4.7 inches. The Desire 610 has a ultra crappy low resolution one.
-
I have the phone on AT&T and out of the lower end Android it is the best I found at this moment. It cost me $199 without contract. I then set it up as GOPHONE, at the time it was cheaper than the old Samsung galaxy express which sells for $250. And stacks up pretty good against $399 Samsung galaxy 3, less money and better specs. It has quad core processor , 4.7 inch screen, and has boom sound speakers. I believe it is a good value for it's price and makes a great prepaid phone, it could even be a great secondary if you have use more than one phone. Anybody who uses one for work, or travel. I know a lot of the people who write Mobile Nations websites carry more then one phone because of travel, or because they write for multiple websites. I believe it will be an great value for Verizon to, be it on contract or prepaid. At&t and Verizon have terrible selection of prepaid phones, except the Moto G , but the current version doesn't have LTE and the DESIRE does. Now the future Motorola G may be better when released but for now there isn't an better value out there. Posted via the Android Central App

I'm actually using this phone just till I get my new one in the mail but it won't let me download play music to the sd card. I have everything checked to do so. Any ideas? Posted via the Android Central App

What do you mean by "playmusic"? 8G just doesn't sound 2014 or 2015.

The Google Play Music app, it won't download playlists to the sd card. No matter what I try Posted via the Android Central App

I got this phone for my parents as an introduction to android. They like it and works well. Excellent for the price. Posted via the Android Central App

Another low end phone that will probably not even be stocked in our local stores. How is this different then the remix? Only difference I see is the camera is lower quality. Posted via Android Central App

Used to think Apple had really excessive bezels, but HTC is the king of Bezeville. Looking at that screen with those side burns- it's just ridiculous. Between the camera and the side space, they are pushing me further and further away from even considering them as a smart buying option. Posted via Ash William's Boomstick
