After the recent announcement of Spatial Audio and Lossless quality coming to Apple Music next month at no additional charge to subscribers, Amazon quickly revealed that its own HD music streaming service Amazon Music HD will be dropping its price to just $9.99 per month to match Apple Music's monthly cost for individual memberships. Better yet, those who are already Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers can now upgrade to Amazon Music HD for free.

If you have yet to try out Amazon's music streaming service, now's the perfect time to do so. Amazon has a deal that scores you an Echo Dot smart speaker for just $1 (opens in new tab) alongside your first month of Amazon Music Unlimited at its regular price of $9.99 per month, or $7.99 if you're a Prime member. This offer is only available to those who have never owned an Echo device before, and you can't be a current subscriber of Amazon Music Unlimited if you want to redeem this offer either.

Amazon Music Unlimited lets you stream your favorite music anywhere you go whenever you want. Start your first month today and you can snag an Echo Dot smart speaker along with it for only $1 more.

With today's deal, you'll be scoring your first month of Amazon Music Unlimited and the Echo Dot Smart Speaker for just $11, or even as low as $9 if you're a Prime member. After you've joined, you can switch to Amazon Music HD for free in your Amazon Music settings (opens in new tab) by clicking the banner that reads "Upgrade Now".

If you don't own an Echo device already, this is really one of the best deals you'll ever see to pick one up. With Prime Day coming next month, it's important to have some sort of Alexa-enabled device as there are usually a few exclusive deals you can only buy by having Alexa shop for you. The Echo Dot also lets you stream music from Amazon Music Unlimited, control compatible smart home devices, and more.

If you're not a Prime member already, be sure to start a free 30-day trial (opens in new tab) to score free two-day shipping, as well as access to the rest of Prime's perks like the Prime Video streaming service and all the exclusive members-only discounts we'll be seeing next month during Amazon's big shopping holiday.
