Acer's Liquid Metal hits the FCC with Froyo and AT&T 3G

Acer announced the Liquid Metal in the UK last month, but was mum on any availability for the United States. That seems to have (unofficially) changed as the FCC has posted documents that show the phone with AT&T 3G bands on board. The Liquid Metal is still scheduled for an October release in the UK, so it should be hitting stores sometime this week for our English friends across the pond. As for us Americans, Acer would surely love to have it out for the shopping season, so we shouldn't have to wait too much longer. As a quick recap, the phone will be sporting a 800MHz CPU along with a 800x480 3.6-inch touchscreen, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, and Bluetooth. [FCC via Engadget]
