ZTE has unveiled two versions of the Nubia Z9 at a press event in Beijing. Meet the Nubia Z9 mini and Nubia Z9 Max.
The ZTE Nubia Z9 Max is a phablet, powered by the Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of internal storage. Supplying juice to all these components is a 2,900mAh battery. The Nubia Z9 mini by ZTE is a mid-range smartphone, sporting the Snapdragon 615, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (with microSD support). The same battery is fitted to the mini.
Both handsets pack a 16MP shooter with support for 4K video recording. The 8MP front-facing camera is all set and ready to go for the ultimate selfies. Android Lollipop 5.0.2 comes pre-installed. The looks of both devices are pleasing with a metal frame wrapping around the sides. If you're into replacing back panels, you'll want to go with the mini as the Nubia Z9 Max comes with an all-glass rear.
You can also expect to see LTE support included inside the Z9 Max and mini. The former phablet will require you to part with CNY2,499 ($400), while the Nubia Z9 mini costs CNY1,499 ($240)
