We're not going to lie, the Vega Android Tablet by ICD actually looks like something we'd want to use. The Vega Android Tablet comes in 7-inch, 11-inch, and 15-inch versions that could find a use in any home since ICD (Innovative Converged Devices) promises to make it a low-cost device that may even find carrier subsidies. The specs for the Vega Android Tablet are:

  • Resistive touch-screen display
  • 1366x768 screen (for the 15.6-inch model)
  • 512 DDR RAM / 512 NAND Flash storage
  • 1.3-megapixel Webcam

  • Dual microphones
  • Battery Life ~4 hours

Finally! My new laptop is here! I'm assuming it has GPS and compass. It's going to look great in my car to fit right over my radio.

wont it have the same problem as the archos tablet or whatever it is called, where it has its own app store because nothing on the android market supports that kind of resolution.

i would definitely prefer capacitive screens over resistive... touchscreen should be meant for your fingers, not a stupid stylus.

i second that Protagonist...7" would be freakin sweet on dash..
no more paying ala carte $bucks$ for car navigation+entertainment system. I just wish this bad boy is rightly priced...
