Android CentralSoti is preparing to release its Pocket Controller Pro software for Android, in beta.

The product allows you to view and control your device from your PC, as well as display your mobile device on your desktop so you can use it in presentation settings, for example.

You can also sync files between PCs and mobiles, with a file explorer tool.

The company has a longer list of features on its site.

Soti has a Pocket Controller Pro version for BlackBerry devices, and has made a Windows Mobile version before (the older Windows CE-based OS, not to be confused with Windows Phone).

Soti Pocket Controller coming to Android

I used to have it on Blackberry Bold 9900. It is very useful if you want to send SMS and Emails from the computer. I am looking forward to buy this....

Dang it. It's not for Macs yet. Do they have it for the mac? It seems cool how you can display your phone on the screen so I can make YouTube videos and stuff like that.

Probably they are working on a Mac version. The support team is great (at least from my experience). I would send an email to them asking about Mac.

I used this product extensively when doing BlackBerry development years ago. It's awesome. A little late to the game for Android; but I'll take it.

This could be very handy for my father and I cause either one of us could troubleshoot my stepmothers phone when she's traveling.

Correction:

"The product allows you to view and control your device from your MS-Windows-only computer, as well as display your mobile device on your MS-Windows desktop"

No MacOS, No Linux.

Well, to be fair a lot of people use PC interchangeably with "Windows computer".
Blame Apple for that.

Pocket Controller for Android, in particular Samsung Android devices is due to be released tomorrow (Feb 12).
