Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The Galaxy Note 4 has received a firmware update from Samsung before the smartphone launches worldwide later this month. According to a report over on AllAboutSamsung, the firmware update (XXU1ANJ4) clocks in at just shy of 36MB and is reported to include stability improvements, as well as "significantly" extending battery life.

Should you have the Galaxy Note 4 on pre-order or plan to head out and pick one up when available, this firmware update should be ready to go once you're up and running. Battery life improvements are unspecified, so be sure to let us know in the comments if you happen to have a Galaxy Note 4 handy and have received the update.
