Weekly Photo Contest: Paper

It's time to show off the winners of yet another weekly photo contest, this time highlighting two great photos in our "paper" contest. It looks as though some people were fighting to find some inspiration in a rather narrow prompt, but the end result was a couple full pages of great entires. Each of the two winners this week are taking home a BodyGuardz Echo Wireless Bluetooth Speaker — read along and see the winning entries this week.

Winner of a BodyGuardz Echo Wireless Bluetooth Speaker, lrn2swim!

Weekly Photo Contest: Paper Winner

This is such a wonderful picture and an awesome lamp that you almost don't realize that it's made out of paper. The lighting and colors just highlight the great design of this paper lamp. Taken with an Evo LTE, and tweaked a bit in the gallery.

Some more wonderful paper art here, made to look even better with a great photograph of it. The tilt shift effect does wonders here to draw your eye to the circles in the middle, letting the colors in the periphery fade into each other. Taken with an HTC One M8 and tweaked in Instagram.

If you've won this contest, keep an eye on your email inbox for information on how we'll get the prize out to you. It may take some time to get to everyone, so please be patient while you wait to be contacted.

Thanks again to everyone else who entered, and keep your eyes peeled for the next photo contest. We want the chance to give away more great prizes to everyone, so keep taking pictures and entering them!

The HTC EVO LTE has a very good camera.

The paper lampshade picture with the shading is nicely done.

Thanks guys. You know what's funny, i've entered probably 25 of these contests, this might be the least effort i've put into any of my pics, maybe my least favorite entry, and this is the first time i've won!! Also, the HTC Evo lte does have a ridiculously awesome camera. My new phone, the LG G2 has better specs on paper (besides the f 2.4 as apposed to the 2.0 on the evo), but i've always seemed to get better pictures with the older phone.
