Save $300 on the Pixel 3 XL and get a $200 prepaid Mastercard as well

The Google Pixel 3 XL is usually a pretty expensive member of the Pixel family. It's one of the largest and most advanced in the lineup. But Verizon has an opportunity for you to save big on this big phone by giving you $300 off the price over the course of a 24-month period. In addition to that, if you activate a new line of service on one of Verizon's Unlimited plans, you'll also be eligible for a $200 prepaid Mastercard. That's $500 total you'll save, almost half off the price of the Pixel 3 XL. These deals will also work for the smaller Pixel 3, by the way.

If you want to get the $200 prepaid Mastercard, you'll need to go to the Verizon Promotion Center website and use the code SWITCHNOW. To maintain the maximum benefit from this, you'll want to keep your line active for at least 45 days. Plus, if you cancel within the first six months, you'll get a $200 charge back. So don't do that. The card is mailed to you within eight weeks.

You can even do a trade-in for your old phone to save even more. If you're switching over to Verizon, you'll save up to $450. If you're just upgrading, you'll get $300. You have to trade it in within 30 days of checking out with your new phone. As long as the older version is the iPhone 7 or newer, the Galaxy S8 or newer, the Note 8 or newer, or one of a few select other Android phones, you'll earn the full trade-in value.

The Pixel 3 and 3 XL came out October of last year, but they continue to be some of the better Android phones around. Check out the original review that gave the Pixel 3 a 4.5 out of 5 and a The Best badge or look at the review written three months later that continued to praise both phones. That one said the Pixel 3 XL has "been a steady and consistent companion, with the best possible software experience for the way I need to use a phone. Despite my frustrations with having just average battery life and a camera that can be frustratingly slow at times, those are honestly small problems in the grand scheme. And perhaps it says even more about how much I like the rest of the phone that I'm willing to put up with those issues and keep using the Pixel 3 XL since I first reviewed it over three months ago."
