Samsung Galaxy Tab supposedly spotted in the wild
By Phil Nickinson last updated
Somewhere in a crowded Sydney, Australia, train station, a man uses a handheld device. But not just any device. It's a tablet. And it's not just any tablet.
It is, according to Electronista, the fabled Samsung Galaxy Tab -- the Korean smartphone manufacturer's rumored Android tablet that we're expecting to see announced in the next month or so, possibly at the IFA conference in Berlin.
It's not the first time we've seen supposed sightings of the seven-inch tablet -- it's leaked out of a Korean office before -- but this is the first time we've seen it on video. It's obviously smaller than Apple's 10-inch iPad, and even in its spy-cam shots, it looks sleeker than the Dell Streak. And the ability to one-hand the thing is going to make that size of tablet more attractive to some.
Anyhoo, enough chatter. Check out the video after the break. [Electronista]

I can't make out what the "spy" asked that dude at the very end when the tablet holder responded "I can't talk about it." Can anyone else make that out?

I believe he asked if the tablet was ARM-based? Too bad he wouldn't answer...

Is that a samsung-branded 30-pin dock connector used on it? Is that even possible? I would have assumed there was a patent on it.
