Samsung fires out July security patch bulletin, highlighting 2 of its own vulnerabilities

Samsung has published the July security patch bulletin ahead of Google, listing all the vulnerabilities that have been addressed as part of the latest release. As well as 44 Google security patches, Samsung also noted four of its own that have been patched and listed just two of them.

The two known vulnerabilities patched by Samsung in the month of July include the IPC socket in hardware running Android KitKat or above, as well as its own Professional Audio SDK. Updates don't appear to be hitting flagship devices as-of-yet, so we'll have to wait a bit before patches start hitting handsets.

You can read up on the security bulletin over on Samsung's website.
