What you need to know

  • The OnePlus 8 Pro will be going on sale in India for the first time on June 15.
  • It was previously slated to go on sale in the country from May 29.
  • The OnePlus 8 Pro starts at ₹54,999 ($720) in India.

OnePlus' latest and greatest flagship phone, the OnePlus 8 Pro will finally be available to purchase in India next week. The OnePlus 8 Pro was previously slated to go on sale in the country from May 29, but the company had to postpone the date for open sales in India due to some unforeseen circumstances.

OnePlus India has now announced that the OnePlus 8 Pro 5G will be available in India at 12 PM on June 15. Unsurprisingly, OnePlus will only have limited quantities of the phone available during the first sale. So if you're thinking of getting the OnePlus 8 Pro, you should place your order as soon as the sale begins.

The company says it will be hosting limited sales for both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, twice a week, on Amazon.in and OnePlus.in. OnePlus is aiming to start a consistent supply of OnePlus 8 series stock soon, but hasn't promised a specific timeframe yet.

OnePlus 8 Pro starts at just ₹54,999 ($720) in India for the 8GB/128GB version, significantly lower than the phone's starting price in markets like the U.S. and Europe. The 12GB/256GB version of the flagship phone costs ₹59,999 ($785) in the country. OnePlus 8, on the other hand, starts at ₹41,999 ($554) in India for the 6GB/128GB version.
