Motorola Tablet specs reportedly leaked, couple of versions coming
published
After its impromptu appearance with Google's Andy Rubin last week, a few more specs belonging to the Motorola tablet (or tablets) reportedly are coming to light. According to Goldenstone at mobile01, they are:
- 7-inch and 10-inch versions
- 32GB storage
- NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 dual-core processor
- Gyroscope
- 1280x800 resolution
- 5MP camera on the back, 2MP on the front.
- microSD
- HDMI out
- Versions for UMTS, CDMA and LTE (all bases covered!)
Goldenstone also mentions that it looks like the hardware's pretty set and is lightweight, but that Honeycomb still needs some fine tuning. Needless to say, folks, we can't get our hands on this one soon enough. [Mobile01 via Engadget]

32GB built in + microSD support?? Sounds like this definitely is the tablet I have been waiting for.

I'm in for a 7" one!
-
That's what she said. :-)
-
lol, ha!

No Wifi only?
Sooo...
Ok, bye! -
I don't read it that way. I take it as there are those options available to cover all the bases for a data package you may choose, but not that there won't be a WiFi only version available.
-
I'm sure there's a wifi only model. Remember, this is a leak and not official announcement. I too want a wifi only model. if I need 3g or 4g, I'll just tether my evo to it!

Its motorola... what did u expect...
-
WiMAX? I know its high frequency and lack of support make it suck, but, we need some love.
-
I don't get it.
WiMax is the, potentially, fastest of the formats offered [WiMAX, LTE, HPAA +] -
I know. But WiMAX is being overpowered by LTE in the global market. Like GSM overpowered CDMA. Thats why there are way more GSM phones. CDMA is clearly better but the world went with GSM. Manufacturers prefer to make what is dominating to make it sell.
-
Yeah...it's just sad... It's like VHS vs BetaMax. BetaMax was clearly better.
-
This is why I didn't buy the Galaxy Tab.

I highly doubt there will be Wimaxx support for this thing. IT's Motorola after all. All their high end stuff go to VZW. WHich means there should be LTE support.

You won't see a wifi one until way after the realease of the ones that require a monthly contract or else the carriers won't support it because they won't make much money out of them. Believe me, I'm a dr.
-
I think I want it. Hopefully it's on Sprint or just wifi compatible.

Wow, finally an Android Tablet with some REAL specs! This is the first Android tablet worth buying in my opinion! But I still am concerned at the price. Becuase all of the new tablets coming out are way overpriced. That will ultimately be the factor for me if I buy a Moto Android Tablet. But this one looks to have the best specs yet!

---- I'm going to wait, 'till no later than March. I want to see what HTC will be offering up? And I'm sure, I will be a 7" - 8" kinda guy : - ) - - Keep it coming Phil. Thanks
