The WD My Passport 2TB portable hard drive is down to $58.45 on Amazon. The My Passport lineup was updated late last year. The previous version was long considered one of the best values in portable drives, and this new version has lived up to the reputation. However, since releasing last October there have not been a lot of sales. The drive dropped to $55 for Black Friday, but this is the first sale since then. It normally goes for $65 or more with the Red version currently up to $70.

Use the drive for automatic backup, which is easy to setup. It can also keep your data safe with 256-bit AES hardware and password encryption. WD's software helps you accomplish all this. It uses a Superspeed USB 3.0 port that's backwards compatible.
